Contemporary art depicts a time spanning from world war 11 and beyond. Art varies to say the least. The "I decided" video takes us back to a time in our political history when there was a cry for change. Example, the breakdown of the Berlin Wall, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, and the rising Supreme are some of the people and events that influence our time. Constant reminder of our past in shaping our future is central. Solange did a great job by intertwine history with a musical touch. What better way to keep us in touch with present-day realities than with music.
